I too, am a canary, I can't take antihistamines, or I get super murdery and aggro (yes, it's apparently a thing). No Claritin for this lady! Morphine causes me to hallucinate in not a good way. I can tolerate one glass of good wine, not cheap, three fingers of bourbon is my biggest tolerance. Beer does things to my digestive system that I do not appreciate. Needless to say, I do not drink very often anymore.

When I was younger, I hallucinated heavily when I smoked pot (cheap and the good stuff). But it always made me feel gross the next day, driest mouth ever, a fatigue that felt like I didn't deserve it, nausea and sometimes vomiting. Wasn't a big weed partaker compared to others (smoked it about a total of 30 times and tried gummies a couple of times) and I still despise the smell- like a skunk and an onion had a toxic relationship and had super angry sex and weed was the baby.

My sister in law on the other hand, swears by her CBD and THC accoutrements. Becomes super mellow with nowhere near the side effects I experience. It's not fair! Why can't I join the cool Gen X and Boomers who vape their weed, or use gummies and seem fairly unbothered by many things. Go in and out of surgery without any stress. Can clear their sinuses without possibly committing a felony. Weed with no mania or hallucinations would be great! I completely and utterly sympathize.

Still want to try microdosing with a professional therapist someday. Maybe I'll see other dimensions or parallel universes, if pot was any indicator of what awoke in my brain?! Or my head may just implode, who knows. Maybe ladies like us, Lisa, will find our groove in something benign, like certain batches of kimchi, certain aromatherapy combos or some random roasted root vegetable no one has ever heard of.

Yeah, I didn't much like most THC experiences either, vaping or edibles. Mostly made me dizzy. I did have some luck though with an Indica tincture (as opposed to Sativa -- sounds like you had strong Sativa, the energizing version) from a weed dispensary that came in an eye dropper that I put just two or three drops in some cocoa I sipped on and it was lovely, very soothing. Felt warm all over, helped me sleep. I wish I had some now. (You need a prescription in Florida. I should try and get one.) Anyway, might be worth a try.
